The muted sighs of a lost man, nobody hears him, and nobody cares. He can’t even throw a glance but the concern is etched in his eyes. For so many voices were hurled in his way. It may be painful but it can’t be avoided. So he must go on his way for it is the only way he knows. Such shame, if they only knew where he’s been. There’s no peace in his mind. Tormented by the fact that all he has done is what he believed in.

So he became a disbeliever. No amount of words can make him feel the same again. And everyday, the steps he made will be measured, not by the people around, but by himself. For he doesn’t want to be wrong again, to be accused of things he didn’t do. It may be hard but it is his only happiness for the moment.

And he finds satisfaction.

Cumbersome as it is, this task is his pleasure. He can’t feel sorry again.

The tears have fallen, giving him relief. Relieved by the truth, that once again, in his miserable life, he felt alive. This made him smile. But the smile is short lived. The face of reality is looking back at him. Always sneering, always in a hurry. Ahhh, another one of those times when he cant feel his mind. Walking aimlessly on a well lit path. And his journey has just begun.

Is this what he really aimed for? Can he handle what was given to him? The questions kept pouring in. The answers are nowhere to be found.
